The Humber River has been a familiar subject for many years. My recent series, titled Nature and the City, documents the dramatic changes taking place as the Eglinton LRT construction crosses the river, considering the relationship between a growing city and the natural landscape it occupies, prompting a closer look at what changes, what remains, and how nature persists and adapts within the city.
