Biography
I am an award winning artist and arts advocate based in Toronto. I have been involved in several group exhibitions in public and private galleries, and solo exhibitions in alternative exhibition venues. I was the recipient of a purchase award from the Archives of Ontario in 2003 and received Papermaking and Realist Painting awards from Ontario College of Art and Design during my studies.
I am the founder of the Junction Arts Festival and co-founder of the Junction Forum for Arts and Culture. I have also participated on the OCAD alumni committee, the Dundas West Improvement Committee and devoted 13 years to volunteering for the Junction Business Improvement Area (BIA) serving 3 years as chair. For 20 years I owned and operated an exhibition space within Vesuvio Pizzeria in the Junction. Most recently I completed the 2021 Alchemy Artist Residency program, having previously graduated with honours from OCAD in 1992.
Presently I am a full time painter.
