Into the wilds: toronto and the Territories
Two person exhibition: In Piera’s work you will see that she seeks to capture the beauty and complexity of the cityscape. Whether it's a small patch of greenery amidst a sea of concrete or a tree-lined street that provides a brief respite from the noise and chaos of the city, she is drawn to the ways in which nature finds a way to exist and thrive even in the most urban of environments.
Vivian’s work is characterized by a focus on colour, light and texture, as well as a strong attention to detail and a deep appreciation for the natural world. Her recent journey to the territories was an immense inspiration and so she presents these paintings as a declaration of her enchantment with Canada’s far north.
